Scott Champion B.Sc., Grad.Dip.Chiro

Scott has always had a fascination in nature and the natural world. The unique philosophy and the science behind chiropractic inspired Scott to learn the art of its application. Scott completed a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in anatomy at Sydney University in 1985 and a Graduate Diploma of Chiropractic at Sydney College of Chiropractic in 1988. On graduating Scott moved to Mackay, Queensland for the next four years to work as a busy associate in Gray’s Chiropractic Clinic.

In 1990 Scott attended a Gonstead Chiropractic Seminar for the first time. He was immediately impressed with the thoroughness, specificity and consistent results of this system and knew that this was his future in chiropractic. Scott studied and applied the Gonstead approach to chiropractic over the following years and in 1998 became a Diplomate in the Gonstead System.

Scott and his wife Jo moved to the Central Coast in 1993 and established Champion Chiropractic Centre in Erina. With a real passion for helping people with their health, Scott enjoys a practice with the very broad scope of patients able to benefit from chiropractic care. Scott looks after many newborn babies, and school kids, as well as seniors, and the family in between.

Eric Topcu B.Sc. Chiro, M. Chiro

Eric has been involved in high level sports from a young age. In his youth he played both representative tennis and amateur football in Sydney. He excelled at school and in his later years of high school developed an enormous interest in the workings of the human body.

Eric was introduced to Gonstead Chiropractic after a worrying trip home from a school camp. He had injured his back and could not even stand on his feet. He was prescribed pain medication and bed rest. Reluctantly, after 3 days bed-ridden Eric was taken from bed to his father’s Chiropractor. During this visit to the chiropractor it became immediately apparent to the teenager that this was something very special. He was back to his intense sporting routine in under a week. Without knowing it at the time he had committed, subconsciously, to providing the same excellence in care for others as soon as he was able.

Eric completed his 5 year chiropractic study program at Macquarie University in the top group of his class; earning scholarships along the way. While he was tempted to pursue an academic career his desire to provide the best chiropractic care for babies, mums, dads, athletes and the elderly alike thrust him from university study directly into private practice.

Before joining Champion Chiropractic Centre, Eric worked in busy practices in Cairns, England, Scotland and Denmark.

We are so fortunate to have had Sue as our office manager and chiropractic assistant since we first opened in 1993. Sue beautifully balances her great love and gift for caring for people with so capably keeping our busy centre running smoothly.
