March 08 Issue
Welcome to the March Newsletter for Champion Chiropractic Centre. With autumn like this who needs summer?
New Staff Members
For those of you who haven’t been in for a while, we have welcomed chiropractor David Oxenham to our centre. Dave is an excellent chiropractor who follows the Gonstead system of chiropractic as does Scott Champion and Dave’s predecessor, Knut Sandbakken. Dave has quickly become very popular, taking over the care of Knut’s patients and developing a strong following of his own.
We’ve also enjoyed the addition of new staff member, Lizzie to the front desk. Lizzie joins our very capable team of Sue, Shannon and Dee.
Happy 15th Anniversary
We were excited on March 4th 2008 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Champion Chiropractic Centre.
It’s hard to believe we opened our doors 15 years ago, knowing only about 3 people on the Central Coast. Sue Aspinall was our first staff member 15 years ago and we enjoy the good fortune of continuing with her as our office manager today. Many of you started out with us at Fountain Plaza or in the less renovated version of our current address. We’ve cherished the support we’ve had from our patients over these 15 years and are proud to be an enduring and growing part of your community.
In recent and in future weeks Scott and Dave have ongoing chiropractic educational seminars to attend.
Chiropractic Seminars
Chiropractic is not a profession where you just graduate from your 5 years of university and think you’ve finished studying. We see our education, our understanding of the body and chiropractic studies as a lifelong pursuit. We do try to stagger our seminar attendances so at least one of us is always here but some seminars are important for us to both attend. The next one of these is on the weekend of April 5 and 6. We apologise for any inconvenience.
And finally………
A man takes his Rotteweiller to the vet. "My dog's cross-eyed, is there anything you can do for him?" "Well," says the vet, "let's have a look at him" So he picks the dog up and examines his eyes, then checks his teeth. Finally, he says, "I'm going to have to put him down." "What?
Because he's cross-eyed?" "No, because he's really -heavy"
