I stumbled upon Champion Chiropractic Centre quite by accident around 12 months ago. As a sufferer of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for over a decade, my latest problem was recurring ear infections, which required me to take way too many antibiotics for even the healthiest person to tolerate.

A naturopath I was seeing suggested I visit Champion Chiropractic Centre. I was a little sceptical that a Chiropractor could help with such a problem, but had nothing to lose, so I made an appointment.

After a very thorough examination and x-rays, it was determined that the very top part of my spine was too close to my skull. As I was only visiting the Central Coast at the time, I only had 2 weeks with Scott to make this happen. At the end of the 2 weeks I noticed several differences. While it was too soon to tell whether the ear infections were gone for good, my adjustments had also helped a range of other problems I hadn’t even thought about, including some pretty severe muscular aches, my mental clarity had improved and even my hayfever wasn’t as bad as it used to be.

Sadly I left the Central Coast after the 2 weeks and several weeks later went to see another Chiropractor who did not practise the Gonstead method that Scott Champion does. The result was not good. I started to revert to being achy again, foggy in the head, and the muscles in my neck/shoulders/back were tender for a few hours after the adjustment. This never happened when Scott adjusted me. I noticed a decline in my health with the new Chiropractor.

Luckily for me, my circumstances changed and I moved back home to the Central Coast just a few weeks after starting with the new Chiropractor. Scott put be ‘back in to place’ again in no time and I noticed a marked improvement in how I felt after just one adjustment. It has now been around 12 months since I’ve been seeing Scott on a regular basis again.

So how has my life changed since my first visit to Scott:

• Dramatic reduction in muscular aches and pain
• Dramatic reduction in hayfever
• Better mental clarity
• More energy
• Better digestive system functionality
• ….and NO MORE EAR INFECTIONS which means no more antibiotics. My digestive system is very happy about that one!

In just over 12 months, I have gone from not working at all and feeling very tired and drained with no energy, to being able to work from home a few hours a day. I now go for regular walks and bike rides and run my own business full time.

While other small factors may have contributed in my recovery in the past 12 months, I can say for certain that none of it would have been possible without the help of Scott Champion (How do I know? I’ve been trying to beat CFS for a decade!). This is the first time in a decade of Chronic Illness that there isn’t ‘some other problem’ popping up one after I get one under control.

And as a bonus, Scott Champion is one of the nicest health care professionals I have ever dealt with.
